Shocker Run 2009
The 2nd year for the Shocker Run brought on more organization and more participation from across the east coast. The weather seemed perfect for a day on the trails and the small amount snow seemed perfect to fill in the cracks and gaps between the rocks, but looks were deceiving. The sun came out and began to melt the top layer of snow exposing the ice underneath. This run is jokingly referred to as the Recovery Run, because trucks began slipping and sliding their way into precarious situations. Several trucks found themselves parallel parked between trees and rocks with only a winch line or recovery strap to save the day. A few of the bolder trucks ventured into the western property and took on some the harder trails and were met with similar resistance.
