September 2010 Newsletter
Recap:
The GPAX Ridin’ Dirty Run 2010 was a great success! We had 11 trucks come out on a hot New Jersey day to get dirty in the fun and filth of the New Jersey Pine Barrens. Brian “Rook” Newcomer was our first annual “Ridin’ Dirty” winner with the most disgusting and dirty truck at the end of the run, which coincidentally was ended by him!

Meeting Minutes
GPAX officers have been hard at work organizing a GPAX bank account with Wachovia Bank to handle all the financial transactions for member’s dues and merchandise. Another feat was getting this website up and running. We are very pleased with all of our supporting members and look forward to gaining many more members in the last quarter of 2010 and in 2011 and beyond.
Dan White & Jerry Chao have stepped in as our two new Sponsorship Coordinators replacing Ben Cooper who moved over to Events Coordinator to replace Mike Meneze who had to step down for personal reasons.
GPAX now has a functional bank account with Wachovia Bank and an active PayPal account to handle all financial transactions. The PayPal is payments@gpaxterra.org and will be used on the website.
Upcoming Events
GPAX is looking forward to hitting the trails this fall and also giving back to the community to with some philanthropy events as well. Get ready for the Campout For Hunger Food Drive in November. GPAX members are now encouraged to started collecting non perishable food items such as canned food for our big collection/donation event at Preston & Steve’s Campout For Hunger.
As far as runs go, please expect some runs to pop up during this fall and early winter. The GPAX website and TheNewX.org will be the first lines of communication for all upcoming events and runs.

Kudos
A big thank you to all the sponsors of the 2010 GPAX Ridin’ Dirty Run. Quadratec gave an ARB recovery bag worth over $250! PRG products donated $100 in gift certificates. Cherry Hill Nissan donated $50 in gift certificates. Cooper & Schaffer Attorneys donated a brand new 48″ Hi-Lift and 2 Smittybilt recovery straps. NXRocks donated $50 off a full set of skids. Finish Line Auto Salon donated a bucket, car cleaning supplies, auto soap and some other goodies to the Ridin’ Dirty winner, Brian “Rook” Newcomer who has both the dirtiest truck and the most immobile!
I also want to thank everyone who helped with the recovery of Rook’s rig during the Ridin’ Dirty Run, especially Jerry Chao, Jason Katz, Dan White and Sean Valentine. Your help was not unnoticed and it demonstrated an integral part of off-roading, which is safe and successful recovery.
Go GPAX!
