GPAX needs your help to give 2 year old Aubrey and her family a fighting chance to stand up to cancer. Aubrey was recently diagnosed with Nueroblastoma, which is a rare and dangerous form of cancer. Aubrey’s father is an employee at Cherry Hill Nissan, and works with long time GPAX member, sponsor and supporter, Brian Cadigan (aka The Parts Pimp). Aubrey is currently at C.H.O.P in Philadelphia receiving treatment and fighting to kick cancer’s ass. Please visit the website setup in her honor and contribute to help them out. Please fight with her!
GPAX will also be helping with an off-road prize raffle to raise money for Aubrey’s cause, so stay tuned for information regarding the raffle.

ECXC had a new and welcomed change in 2017 thanks to the hosting club, NeXterra. Supporting clubs with members in good standing position were allowed to bring and wheel their “non Xterra 4×4 vehicles”. As a 2017 sponsor, GPAX brought Xterras, Frontiers, and a bright Yellow FJ Cruisers. Opening the event up to other vehicles allowed club members, who were previous shut out of the fun, to enjoy the annual event and test their vehicles on the Rausch Creek Off-Road Park trails. Even I, the GPAX president, was driving my father’s 2005 Frontier, while my Xterra ring & pinion gears are being replaced.
The 3 day event is a staple of the Nissan off-roading calendar and draws drivers from all across the east coast and interior states. The event featured 3 days of trail riding in specific trail groups, a NeXterra night dinner, a BBQ catered dinner, and a sponsor supported raffle for all attendees. GPAX had an excellent showing this year, as the event is held in our home state. GPAX members from PA, NJ, MD, VA, and NY hit the trails in various groups to explore the 4 properties of Rausch Creek.
The 10th Anniversary is upon us! It has been ten years since 5 Xterra owners decided to wheel when no one else wanted to. That first cold weekend back in 2008 started a tradition that has lasted the test of time and attracted more and more off-roaders each year!
The 10th Annual Shocker Run hosted by GPAX. March 3rd & 4th, 2017 GPAX will once again invade a cold and unforgiving Rausch Creek Off-Road Park and hit the icy, rocks and dirt of the 3,000 off-road acres. Details will increase over the following weeks.
This is run open to all makes and models of 4×4, not just Nissans. The event will end with a top class raffle featuring GPAX’s amazing sponsors and some amazing raffle prizes. Don’t miss GPAX’s best event of the year and the largest winter wheeling event on the east coast for Nissans off-roaders.

The 9th Annual Shocker Run was an odd day in GPAX history, but in a good way. It was a dry, mild day with no snow, ice, or fog anywhere in sight. The normal question of what would winter bring to this Shocker was met with bits of sunshine and a slight breeze. The only thing that slowed the morning down was the long lines to register and pay in the office! 6 groups set out across various sections of the park to enjoy their day. The park tends to morph and change from year to year as the weather, trucks, logging, and time wear away the rocks and dirt. Many green trails are now blues and many deep mud holes are now shallow. With less time spent on recovery, the groups were able to cover much more ground then in previous years and really explore all ends of the park. Ultimately, it was a great day, with minimal carnage and maximum fun. Thank you to all who attended and get ready for the 10th anniversary next year!
A special thanks to our platinum sponsor, NissTec, for making this Shocker Run extra special for everyone who attended and the lucky attendee who walked away with a new set of coilovers!
GPAX was represented in the 2016 Philadelphia Auto Show held in the Philadelphia Convention Center held January 31 to February 7, 2016. Stephen Breslin’s 2005 Xterra and Sean Valentine’s 2010 Xterra were showcased in the DUB Show Tour section behind the Finish Line Auto Salon booth. The DUB room hosted unique & exotic custom cars, bikes, trucks, and SUVs from around the country. The GPAX trucks were the only “tried and true” off-road vehicles in the entire show, and were not afraid to show off the trail rash, dents, dings, and the proof that they can go almost anywhere they want! We can guarantee that these two Xterras were turning heads all week and having people ask, “Is that really a Nissan?!?”
Thank you to Brian Cadigan for making this happen and getting everyone in contact with each other.

Quite a few GPAX members made the trek down south to Tennessee for the 5th annual WENT Windrock event held in Oliver Springs, TN. The is the largest gathering of II Gen Xterras & Frontiers in the entire country. The event was held over 4 days from September 16-20, 2015. WENT featured several day run trail groups, a live Nissan Nation Podcast, a Night Run sponsored by Gorilla Offroad, a Ladies Run sponsored by Xterra Performance, and a huge raffle from all of the event sponsors, especially Xterra Nation.
ECXC 2015 was the 15th installment of the country’s longest running Xterra only annual event. The one change to the start of this year’s ECXC was the weather. Thursday & Friday had unseasonably cool conditions with low humidity and it made for great trail conditions and great nights at the campground. The heat and humidity did return on Friday, but that didn’t stop 40+ trucks from showing up at Rausch Creek Off-Road Park. Trucks and driver’s from convened from PA, NJ, MD, VA, NY, MA, VT, NH, CT, RI, OH, and Canada! Sorry, Delaware you were not represented. This year saw the return of the female drivers in full force! The ladies were out on the trails and kicking ass from green trail groups to the advanced rock crawlers. Many old, reliable drivers were MIA, but quite a few first timers got their tires dirty and saw first hand what makes up come back after year to put our trucks through some of the east coast’s toughest terrain.
A huge thank you to NeXterra’s officers for their planning and dedication and all the sponsors for their donations and support and putting together another successful ECXC!
I highly recommend you get out to one of the 3 days that ECXC is held at Rausch Creek Off-Road Park. It is the longest running Xterra only event in the entire country. ECXC is run by NeXterra, which is one of the oldest Xterra clubs in the country and a brother club to GPAX. Every day has organized trail runs, Friday is NeXterra night at Mooses LZ, Saturday night is the huge BBQ & Raffle! Meet fellow enthusiasts from up and down the east coast and even Canada!
